DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>General Overview:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Alameda Hospital Foundation 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.2 miles) and kids 1/2 mile run is back at our old location on Bay Farm Island. The event will start and end at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal, and both the 5k and 10k courses will utilize the flat and fast shoreline trails around the Island coast. The venue and course have beautiful views of SF and the bay.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Participants Receive:</strong></p><ul><li>Custom cotton blend t-shirt</li><li>Custom Bib</li><li>Finisher Medals</li><li>Race snacks, Beer from Faction Brewery and Water from Crystal Geyser</li></ul><p>Race times and event schedule:</p><p><strong>Packet Pick up starts THURSDAY:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Lauren's Closet: &nbsp;10:00am - 6:00pm Thursday 4/24 thru Saturday 4/26 - 1420 Park St, Alameda. Participants can run, jog or walk the entire course.&nbsp;</p><p>Jogging strollers are permitted but are asked to start in the back of the pack.&nbsp; No bikes, scooters, skateboards or other wheeled vehicles are allowed. Dogs are not allowed on our race courses. &nbsp;We love dogs, but there are those who are not so comfortable around them and there are also dogs that are uncomfortable around hundreds of other people, therefore NO DOGS ALLOWED on the course or at the finish line.</p><p>After the run there will be music, food and age group winner awards.
