About Cottage Grove Half Marathon & 10K
Welcome to one of Oregon's most scenic spring runs! The Cottage Grove Half & 10K takes place on Saturday, June 5th, 2027 along the beautiful Row River Trail—a paved path that winds through forests, meadows, and historic covered bridges.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, running your very first race, or joining friends for a fun day on the trail, this event has something for everyone.
The Row River Trail, nestled in the heart of Cottage Grove, Oregon, offers a serene and scenic escape for outdoor enthusiasts. Winding along the peaceful Row River and encircled by lush forests, vibrant wildflowers, and sweeping views of the surrounding hills, the trail is a true gem—the perfect setting for runners and walkers alike to experience the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, with gently rolling terrain and the sparkling waters of Dorena Lake nearby.
As you journey along this picturesque path, you'll pass by charming covered bridges, historic landmarks, and tranquil meadows, making it a memorable experience for both body and soul.
Event Details- Half Marathon: Bus departs Bohemia Park at 8:10 am to Dorena School. Half starts at 9:00 am from Dorena School. Net 240 ft decline to Trailhead Park.
- 10K: 9:00 am start from Trailhead Park, out and back to Mosby Creek Trailhead.
- Unique T-shirt for all finishers

- $7.00 per runner back to the Row River Trail upkeep and Bureau of Land Management
- Thursday: Eugene area packet pickup (TBD)
- Friday: 3–6 pm, Coast Fork Brewing, Cottage Grove
- Day of: Bohemia Park starting after 6:30 am

All aid stations feature Hammer Nutrition Heed. The 10K has 1 aid station at Mile 3.1 (Mosby Creek turnaround).

I will not participate in an event unless I am medically able and properly trained. By my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health, and adequately trained.
I agree to follow all pedestrian safety ordinances, understanding that other runners, cyclists, and humans are on the trail during this event at the same time. Per our no-refund clause, if the event is canceled for any reason, you have the opportunity to use that credit towards any of our current year's events. If you cancel 10 days or more out from the event, Oregon Trail Runs will issue you a credit for a different event to use or gift to a friend.
