EVENT INFORMATION
The Crenshaw Mile is South LA's 2nd annual USA Track & Field sanctioned and certified 1-mile road race on Crenshaw Blvd. in the historic Crenshaw District for all runners and walkers taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026. This celebration of movement, community, and culture is a shared opportunity to walk, jog, run, or race down an epic stretch of Crenshaw Boulevard. Open to all runners, joggers, and walkers aged 6 and older and all abilities. The event features various heats, including youth categories, open divisions, and community jog/walk.

The Crenshaw Mile Athlete's Village featuring warm-up zone, pre-race hydration, same-day registration, and more. Open for participants, coaches, and families. Located near 3419 W Slauson Ave.
8:00AM - 1:00PM
The Crenshaw Mile Finishers Village featuring race partners, community organizations, local businesses, food, music, and post-race fellowship. Open for participants, coaches, families, spectators, and the community. Located near The Crenshaw Mile finish line (Crenshaw Blvd between W. Vernon Ave & Homeland Dr.)

USATF & HERSHEY'S RUNJUMPTHROW
USATF & Hershey's RunJumpThrow is a crucial part of USATF’s evolution to help improve the lives of young people, regardless of whether or not they are competitive athletes. In the RJT curriculum, you will find activities ranging from warming up and walking to advanced hurdle and jumping activities. While all these activities meet SHAPE America standards, the most important part of USATF & Hershey's RunJumpThrow is that kids have fun moving their bodies. Come out and meet USA Track and Field Olympians and Paralympians! Please complete, sign, print, the USATF waiver (see here) and bring to check-in on event day. USATF & Hershey's RunJumpThrow will take place near the finish line of The Crenshaw Mile at Leimert Park Plaza (4395 Leimert Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008). Open to ages 6 - 12.
USATF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 1-MILE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Crenshaw Mile is proud to host the USATF Southern California 1-Mile Championship, part of the USATF SoCal Road Running Grand Prix Series. This series showcases some of the fastest courses and best road races in the region. USATF members can earn points throughout the season, with medals awarded to the top three finishers in 11 men’s and women’s 5-year age groups. Whether you’re chasing a PR or aiming for a championship title, this is your chance to compete at the highest level. Active USATF membership is required. Join Team USATF here.
