DESCRIPTION:<p>Silver City is the gateway to some of the best gravel in the the Loess Hills. Connected via the Wabash Trace nature trail, you can get from Council Bluffs in just 14 miles of beautiful rails to trails covered in shaded tree cover. Great for a good zone 2 workout before you hit the first 5 miles of rollers on the Silver City Century route. From there you get to visit exotic Iowa locations like, Macedonia, Henderson, and Willow Slough along a network of Class B and minimum maintenance roads. If the weather behaves (which is frankly a 50/50 chance) you'll get an amazing tailwind at some point and some head winds or cross winds that might have you questioning your life choices.
