Feature Highlights
Feature Highlights are some new features we released on Movemint this past month, plus new updates to existing features.
New Features
Event Tags: Discover events on Movemint’s homepage by browsing event tags. Organizers can assign tags when creating an event or later under the Tags section in the Details tab of the Event Admin. Tagged events will be featured on Movemint’s homepage under their corresponding tags.
Manage Teams: Manage teams for participants at your event. Organizers can create teams, edit existing team names, view and/or edit passwords, and adjust more team settings.
Deferrals: Configure when and how credits will be applied. With deferrals, organizers can postpone a registered participant’s entry to a future edition of the same race, instead of canceling or issuing a refund.
Feature Updates
Merchandise: Set merchandise for specific sub-events. Athletes will be able to purchase merchandise if only specific sub-events are selected.
Sub-Events: Hide sub-events from participants’ view.
Sub-Events: Allow participants to only select one sub-event when registering.
Event Handles: Set a custom ending slug for your event page’s URL when creating an event or when duplicating an existing event.
Race Day Check-In: Check in participants with an admin-only URL or give volunteers a unique URL.
Featured Events
King Ridge: Grasshopper #5: The King Ridge Grasshopper is a legendary ride in Sonoma County, challenging cyclists with steep climbs, thrilling descents, and varied terrain.
Known for its rugged beauty, the course winds through remote mountain roads and offers breathtaking coastal views. It’s an unforgettable adventure that tests endurance and skill, capturing the gritty spirit of Northern California cycling.
Parade 5k Run/Walk: Come out on July 4th to run this flat and fast point to point 5k through the closed streets of Alameda.
The 5k (3.1 mile) race starts at 1420 Park Street in front of Lauren’s Closet and follows the Alameda parade route ending at Haight and Webster. The scenic course is completely closed to traffic as you run past spectators waiting for the parade to start. Your run will finish just past the parade judging booth.
