Raise money for Asian Women's Shelter

The mission of San Francisco Asian Women’s Shelter (SFAWS) is to eliminate domestic violence by promoting the social, economic, and political self-determination of women and all survivors of violence and oppression. SFAWS is committed to every person’s right to live in a violence-free home, with a specific focus on addressing the cultural and language needs of immigrant, refugee, and U.S.-born Asian and Arab women and their children. This mission is reflected in SFAWS’s comprehensive approach, which integrates culturally grounded and language-accessible services, including crisis lines, emergency shelter, transitional housing, community engagement and violence prevention programs, training and education, systems and policy advocacy, and cultural change initiatives. The community is the heart of Asian Women’s Shelter. Our work is shaped and sustained by the very communities we serve. It’s not just about providing services—it’s about ensuring those services reflect the diverse experiences, strengths, and needs of our community. We believe that every person has a role in this work, and together, we can build a future where safety, healing, and justice are possible for all.
