I’m proud to serve as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Mekong NYC, an incredible organization doing vital work in our community. Mekong NYC provides direct services to Cambodian and Vietnamese families in the Bronx, including assistance with public benefits applications and other critical supports that help families stay stable and thrive.

Beyond direct services, Mekong NYC leads impactful local campaigns that shape policies and laws affecting not only immigrant communities, but marginalized communities of color more broadly. They also host meaningful cultural events, create affirming and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ community members, and invest in youth leadership development to cultivate the next generation of Vietnamese and Cambodian American leaders.

I’m continually inspired by their commitment to dignity, empowerment, and community. I hope you’ll consider supporting this important work.
