About The Lou Mile
The Lou Mile is a signature St. Louis race experience that brings people of all ages and abilities together through movement, celebrates the rich culture and history of our city, and inspires healthy, connected communities.
Whether you're running your first mile, competing for your personal best, walking with community, or cheering, The Lou Mile is designed to create an unforgettable experience for everyone.
The one-mile course showcases the beauty of Old North St. Louis, connecting to the neighborhoods, stories, and culture through movement. After crossing the finish line and grabbing your medal, the celebration continues with live music, local food and businesses, community organizations, and family-friendly activities.
The Lou Mile is a celebration of movement, community, and the heart for St. Louis.

The Crew Celebration Village featuring race partners, community organizations, local businesses, food, music, and post-race fellowship. Open for participants,, families, spectators, and the community. Located near Crown Candy (St. Louis Ave and 14th St.)
RUNNING & WALKING HEATS (All waves are timed except Crew Kid 200m Dash)

Where does the Course start and finish?
The Lou Mile starts at The Griot Museum of Black History (St. Louis Ave & 25th St) and finishes 3 blocks past Crown Candy (St. Louis Ave & 9th St.)
What activities are available for spectators?
If you're not running, you're cheering.
There will be multiple cheer zones throughout the course. There will also a celebration area near Crown Candy with community partners, food, and music.
Is there an award ceremony?
Yes, prizes are given to top 3 in each group. More to be announced.
Do you offer refunds?
No refunds, but you can order ticket protection at the time of purchase.
