About Peace Runners Black is Beautiful 5k

Join us for a day rooted in community, connection, and movement. This event is about showing up together, moving at your own pace, and spending time with people who care about giving back.

Participants can choose between two options designed to be accessible and welcoming to all. A 5K run with all paces encouraged, whether you are running your first 5K or taking it easy with friends. Or a 1-mile walk for those who prefer a more relaxed option or want to bring family members along.

Both routes will start and finish at Marillac House, located at 2859 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612. We will gather there before the start and return to the same spot to close out the day together.

Registration is free. A donation to Peace Runners 773 is highly encouraged and helps support their ongoing work in the community. Come move with us, meet new people, and be part of something meaningful.
