About Community Walk & Family Field Day

The California Black Women’s Health Project offers our beloved community some respite and an opportunity for collective healing. We are hosting a "Paint the Town Purple" Community Walk & Family Field Day on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 10 am until 1 pm in Edward Vincent Park in Inglewood, CA. In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, our intention for this event is to be a joyful gathering designed to bring family, friends, and neighbors together for a few hours of movement, connection and wellness, which support the mental and emotional health of our community.
