About Devon 2027
Join us in Devon for the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series Finale for Northern Alberta.
The Town of Devon is home to scenic river valley trails — both single track and hard pack — and beautiful autumn river valley colours. Runners, hikers, and campers enjoy Devon's river valley and the start/finish at the Devon Lions Campground is the perfect spot to enjoy a warm post-race campfire.
5 Peaks Devon offers distances for all ages, abilities, and ambitions. Sign up soon to secure your spot, select your swag, and save!
Individual event registration prices do not include swag or finisher medals, which can be purchased while registering.
Course Description: A warm fire is roaring under the pavilion keeping runners toasty warm before the start of the race. The race starts with a grinding hill climb to the top of the ridge. From there you'll descend through the single track to the bluff which overlooks the campground where you will get a peek of the start/finish area. The course finishes with 2 kilometres of hard packed trail along the river where you will be treated to beautiful autumn colours. The sport course completes the loop once, the enduro course twice, and the grit runners complete the loop three times.
The Devon 3 km Kids Challenge race is a real treat. The kids are treated to a hill climb to the top of the new River Valley Alliance Trail. They then turn around and have the enjoyment of running downhill into the finish line.
