About Dirty Disco Gravel 2027
Dirty Disco Gravel 2027 is the third iteration of our season kickoff party and it is already shaping up to be an event to remember! Known for fast, technical and exciting routes that showcase some of the south Flint Hills’ finest gravel roads. Racers will be challenged by the terrain but will also be rewarded with beautiful and inspiring vistas as they race across the prairie.
The race starts and finishes at El Dorado Lake State Park just below the dam in the Walnut River Campsite Area. There will be plenty of parking and space for spectators and family to set up near the finish to cheer the racers to the line. Registered participants will have their Kansas State Park Pass fee waived for this event.
Dirty Disco is the perfect event for those looking to step into some early season competition, or crawl out of the pain cave and experience some light-hearted fun with those who prefer the gravel groove to the gravel grind. Come prepared to ride some new terrain and some old roads as both the 100 and 50 mile races will traverse the Butler County and Greenwood County backroads complete with a world class SAG stop and neutral water along the way!
For those wanting a smaller party the 30mi Tour will be the low-key fun you are looking for.
After the race, recovery is provided by our friends at MisFit Kitchen food truck, and our favorite local premium beverage sponsor, Walnut River Brewing Company.
As with all things Dirty Disco Gravel, all of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Kansas. Here you will find the beating heart of the Disco. We dream of a day where Alzheimer’s Disease is history, a challenge of the past. We believe that day exists in our future. In our first two years, we have been able to donate nearly $25,000 to that mission. Every year we dance the Dirty Disco we step forward toward this dream.
