About Gold Bar 2027
Join us at Edmonton's Gold Bar Park for the third event in the 5 Peaks Northern Alberta Trail Running Series.
Located along the North Saskatchewan River, Gold Bar Park is home to hard pack trails, technical singletrack, and the infamous Esso Hill. Enjoyed by Edmontonians in both summer and winter, the park is a gathering place for all who love the river valley.
Distances for all ages, abilities, and ambitions. Sign up soon to secure your spot, select your swag, and save!
Individual event registration prices do not include swag or finisher medals. Both can be purchased while registering.
The race starts off with 2 kilometers of hard pack trail with lots of room to spread out before climbing the hill towards Goldstick Park and ducking into the single track. The first aid station is up at the top of a steep climb and is a welcome sight in the summer heat. After the aid station, the course dips back into the single track and flows back to the park before heading out to 50 Street and looping back to the park.
Gold Bar features one of the most challenging 3 KM kids races — a great opportunity for the kids to enjoy the singletrack.
