About The Bertman Run
Join us in movement for the 5th annual Bertman Run (5K, 10K, or Half Marathon) to raise crucial funds for Blood Cancer United — in Honor of Bert Vicchio (Bertman), race director Lianne Vicchio's dad.
"The Bertman Run is deeply personal to me. I organize this event each year in loving memory of my dad, who passed away from mantle cell lymphoma. He had a passion for movement, loved spending time on the Parkway, and believed in the power of bringing people together. This run honors his legacy by uniting our community to remember those affected by blood cancer while raising critical funds for Blood Cancer United. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support individuals and families facing blood cancer, making this event a meaningful tribute to my dad and a way to create hope for others."- Lianne Vicchio
