About OTC's Summer Classic 2026

Welcome to the Oakland Track Club Summer Classic! With summer training and a number of track 5000m races underway & Fall races around the corner, it’s a perfect time to mix it up with some friendly competition to test your fitness! 

We will have cash prizes for the top 3 Male, Female, Non-binary Finishers in the 5000m!

1st place - $150

2nd place - $100

3rd place - $75

Join your friends from OTC for some racing at Skyline High School in Oakland on July 18! Track events include a 5K, DMR & a kids 400m.

For those that haven't run a Distance Medley Relay before, the order is as follows:

• 1200m

• 400m

• 800m

• 1600m

It is truly one of our most popular events. 

The Summer Classic is also a fundraiser for Skyline High School’s Cross Country and Track and Field programs! Donations will help them to purchase new equipment & support their athletes!
