Trail Run? Sorta...

The inaugural Rock Cobbler RUN, born from its sibling the OG Rock Cobbler “sorta gravel ride” is a stupidly hard run bordering on a race. It was conceived by madmen...on a bike ride...then with running shoes....then on barstools, late in the night. As always we are passionate and driven to showcase dirt trails and things that are neither. Shenanigans abound. We promise a unique, challenging route....In a very Bakersfield way. As is tradition, the final routes, other details, updates, rules and news will be shared with registered runners.

ROUTES
The full Cobbler will be roughly 26mi/41.84K with roughly 4500ft of vert. The shorter Pebbler route will be half of that, roughly. Having fun is a must. You might meet Tacoman, throw stuff, suck your thumb, cuss at us and you WILL hike a bit. We promise an adventure!

GEAR
This is a fully off road trail style run. Good trail shoes AND sock/shoe gaiters (love us some foxtails!) are a MUST. Full sleeve, short sleeve or tanks are required. NO SHIRTLESS. Fully stocked aid stations will be on the course.

A nutty, hard, fun route, amazing event support and aid stations/stops with FLUID hydration and other awesome food during your run. And some fun coupled with the pain.
Breakfast and coffee from COVENANT COFFEE morning of the run.
A awesome lunch (we do food right!) including 805 beer, other drinks and yes, Twinkies. And yes, the handmade Belgian style fries (aka Frites).
A great raffle (all runners auto-entered, silent raffle...check the table!)

Entry fee is $150. The RC Run is limited to 300 runners TOTAL. We will sell out! Get reg’d soon! Sorry, no refunds.

Like the Cobbler ride, there are no categories but we do award the first male and female finisher of each run with an extra special gift. You will be professionally timed and our timers do break down ages so you can see how ya stack up!
We don’t call it a race, it’s a damn challenging run. But, race it as much as you see fit.
You must make it to the final SAG stop by 4pm for any route or we reserve the right to haul you in.

Friday Nov 7th packet pickup, 2–8pm (at the venue)
Pasta dinner 5-8pm at the venue—details to reg’d runners
Saturday Nov 8th, breakfast 6-7am, roll out 8am, all runners
Saturday Nov 8th, post run….lunch, food, music, the special gift and war stories !

When you finish (if you finish) you will know why it’s called ROCK COBBLER!
