About Sikome Lake 2027

Join us at Sikome Lake for the first event in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series in Central Alberta.

Located in Fish Creek Provincial Park in south Calgary, the park is home to paved, hard-packed, and single-track trails as well as the outdoor lake perfect for enjoying in the summer.

This largely flat course — with a few steep hills thrown in for fun — starts at Sikome Beach area, then runs out past the Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Centre and into the trails on the north side of Fish Creek.

5 Peaks events are more than just trail races. They are special celebrations of nature, of the hard work we put into our training, of strength, and of family and community. These runs are for everyone. We welcome all competitors, whether you're gunning to become a backcountry running champion or simply want to take on a new physical challenge — 5 Peaks is for you.

5 Peaks races are known for their incredible staff and volunteers, abundant food, great swag, and commitment to sound environmental practices.

• Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups as part of the event's commitment to environmental sustainability.
• Awards presented to top finishers in each category following the race.
