About Star City San Bruno Mountain Half Marathon 2026

Want to run an epic trail race with amazing views?

Then check out the 8th Annual Star City San Bruno Mountain Half Marathon taking place on Saturday October 3, 2026!

The race is organized by the Excelsior Running Club and boasts spectacular views of the Pacific, Bay and San Francisco. The race is 93% on trail, kicks in 2,400 ft of elevation fun, and has a screaming single track downhill section.

The half marathon registration includes a t-shirt (if registered by 9/21/26) and a meal! Proceeds from the race help fund local community organizations!

Our race was dreamed up by runners who love the trails of San Bruno Mountain. We wanted to create an amazing running experience and then have participants enjoy a meal together while celebrating their accomplishments. We also have a 5K race option that is mostly on trail (shirt not included).
