About Supermarket Street Sweep 2026

The Supermarket Street Sweep (aka "SMSW" or "The Sweep") is an annual bike race that benefits the SF-Marin Food Bank (SFMFB). Since 2005, hundreds of participants have zipped around the city to local supermarkets and brought back thousands of pounds of food to donate to this wonderful charity. 

WHEN: November 7, 2026

Rider check-in starts at 11:00AM. The race begins at 12:00PM once we make a short speech and hand out the manifests (which lists the stores you'll visit and the items you'll buy to donate to the food bank). Race and fundraising end at 4:00PM.

WHERE: The race starts at Cupid’s Span (Bow & Arrow) at Folsom and Embarcadero. Please meet here to check in for the event. You don't need to bring or print out your Bikereg registration/ticket. The race ends at the SF-Marin Food Bank.

RACE-DAY REGISTRATION: Yes for SPEED/POINTS, E-BIKE/POINTS, and CARGO categories. There is NO race-day registration for the TEAM category.

AFTER PARTY: The race ends at the SF-Marin Food Bank, and this is also where the party will be. No additional travel necessary! There will be a raffle from 5:30-6:00PM. We're also planning on awarding prizes to the top three from the Open/Men and WTFNB fields in the SPEED/POINTS, E-BIKE/POINTS, and CARGO categories, the top three TEAMS, and the top three FUNDRAISERS during the party.
