About Tour de 'Dugo

The Tour de 'Dugo is a checkpoint gravel race held entirely within the Verdugo Mountains. 

Checkpoints and an example route will be released Nov 8th. The provided route will be the “mellowest” but not necessarily the most direct way to connect the checkpoints. That’s where you come in! You may collect checkpoints in any order and follow any route as long as you are moving under human-power. 

Expect 40-50 miles and 6-8k feet. Terrain will include road, fire road and single track, but you get to decide how much of each. However you route it, we promise you'll end up on some of the classic Verdugo climbs and equally epic, lesser known trails.

Registration is required. The first 50 registered riders will receive musette goodie bags and a Walt’s voucher (good for one hotdog + one drink). Prizes will be awarded for winners in each category (WTFNB and Men/Open). 

Registration will be capped at 75 riders. A waitlist will open after we reach 75 and we will let ya know if spots open up.

Check in: 8:30am @ Walt’s Bar - come early for Heavy Water coffee!

Race start: 9:30am

Race finish @ Walt’s Bar

Awards: 3pm

The race itself is self supported. Please bring everything you need to be self-sufficient on the bike (fuel, water, flat kit, tools). You'll have the most fun on a gravel bike or a hardtail/XC mountain bike. Human powered bikes only.
