WELCOME TO THE 2nd ANNUAL WATERFORD BICYCLE CLASSIC

Join us for the 2nd Annual Waterford Bicycle Classic - a premier gravel cycling experience through the rolling farmland, forests, and 300+ year old gravel roads of Northern Loudoun County.

Hosted at the wonderful, award-winning Wheatland Spring Farm & Brewery, this is more than a ride. It’s a thoughtfully designed event built around exceptional routes, strong community, and a shared purpose: supporting the preservation of historic Waterford through our nonprofit, the Waterford Bicycle Club.

Last year’s inaugural ride exceeded expectations, with riders consistently highlighting the quality of the routes, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. We’ve taken that feedback seriously and made this year even better.

ROUTES FOR EVERY RIDER

20 miles – the "Half Pint", relaxed, scenic, and fun for everyone
40 miles – the "Pint", balanced, athletic and social
60 miles – the "Stein", a true gravel challenge (for real)
NEW in 2026 - 100 miles (“The Growler”) – a full gravel century for the bear-hearted

All routes are carefully designed by local experts to balance challenge, flow, and safety, with terrain that keeps things engaging from start to finish.

NEW THIS YEAR: The 100-mile Growler. Built in response to rider demand, this is one of the only organized gravel centuries in the region.

EXCEPTIONAL GRAVEL

Loudoun County offers some of the best gravel riding in the region—quiet roads, rolling hills, and historic landscapes. Expect meaningful elevation on the 40, 60, and 100-mile routes, along with scenery that makes the effort worthwhile.

FULLY SUPPORTED EXPERIENCE

• Well-marked routes and clear navigation
• Fully stocked aid stations with strong rider support
• SAG vehicle support available if needed
• Clear, consistent communication leading up to the event

You focus on riding - we’ll handle the rest.

THE FINISH LINE EXPERIENCE

The ride begins and ends at Wheatland Spring Farm & Brewery.

Stick around after your ride for craft beer brewed on-site, local food, music, and a relaxed, community atmosphere. This is a ride designed to be enjoyed both on and off the bike.
