About Frick Park 2026 Trail Race Series

Welcome to the 3rd edition of the Frick Park Trail Race Series presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. Pittsburgh's first and only trail race series in a a city park.

New in 2026, we are offering two distances each week. Race #1 and Race #3 will have both a 5K and 10K offering. For Race #2, and the beloved Orienteering event, we will have a family-friendly version (10 checkpoints) and an advanced course with 20 checkpoints.

The three race dates/times are as follows:

1. Wednesday, May 27th 2026 @ 6:00pm

2. Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 (Orienteering) @ 6:00pm

3. Wednesday, June 10th 2026 @ 6:00pm

Adding to the post-race celebration, mobile pizza oven '77 Club and Two Frays Brewing will be popping-up on Reynolds Street each week. Eat, drink and race local!

The race series is co-hosted by Paper & Dirt and Allegheny Sport & Outdoor.

You can sign-up for individual races or the whole series pass for a nice discount.

Series participants receive a special prize after the final race on June 10th, 2026.

To clarify, those completing the series receive only 1 shirt, rather than a shirt for every race.

Register before April 30th to be guaranteed a race shirt.
