RACE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

ATTENTION: THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING WAIVER OF YOUR RIGHT TO SUE GOODLIFE ADVENTURES, LLC AND OTHER PARTIES. DO NOT SIGN THIS AGREEMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT. YOU SHOULD SEEK THE ADVICE OF LEGAL COUNSEL IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT.

In consideration of my acceptance into the 2026 Lauf Gravel Worlds cycling and running event (the “Event”) by GoodLife Adventures, LLC (“GLA”), I, for myself, and on behalf of my spouse, children, guardians, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, hereby agree to and make the following representations pursuant this Race Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (“Agreement”).

I hereby represent and certify that I am in good health and proper physical condition to participate in the Event. I acknowledge and agree that it is my responsibility to determine whether I am physically fit and healthy enough to safely participate in the Event. Further, if at any time prior to or during the Event I feel unable to continue my participation or observe hazards that would make my continued participation a danger to myself or others, I acknowledge and agree that it is my sole responsibility to withdraw myself from the Event and notify the appropriate parties.
I fully acknowledge and understand that my participation in the Event involves inherent risks and dangers including, but not limited to, serious bodily injury, permanent disability and even death, illness, property loss, dangers arising from adverse weather conditions, situations beyond the control of the Released Parties (as defined below), and other undefined, not readily foreseeable risks and dangers (collectively, the “Risks”). I understand that the Risks may be caused, in whole or in part, by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of other Event participants, and I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any and all damages, liabilities, loss or expense I incur that are in any way related to my participation in the Event.
I hereby waive, release and covenant not to sue, and further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GLA, event organizers, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, the host city and associated local agencies providing Event support, and each of their respective affiliated entities, officers, directors, shareholders, members, managers, agents, and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”), with respect to any and all liability, claims, damages, causes of action, demands, or loss of any kind or nature arising out of my participation in the Event.
I acknowledge and agree that it is my responsibility to be familiar with and abide by the rules of the road at all times during the Event.
I hereby grant to GLA and Event sponsors and licensees the exclusive right to the free use of my name, voice, and picture in any print, broadcast, advertising, promotion, telecast, or other account of the Event.
I acknowledge and agree that my entry fee is non-refundable and that GLA holds the right to make and enforce changes to the Event at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, dangerous weather, natural disasters, or requests from local officials. I further acknowledge and agree that GWF is in no way responsible for any expenses that I may incur as a result of the cancellation or otherwise related to my planned participation.
This Agreement supersedes any prior or other agreement or representation, oral and written, which conflicts with any terms herein. I agree that any claim or dispute arising out of or otherwise related in any way to my participation in the Event will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

I HEREBY ATTEST AND CERTIFY THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE FOREGOING TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS I MAY OTHERWISE HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE ENTERED INTO THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
