Our Story

In the summer of 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread across the globe and into our neighborhoods, our communities were experiencing the effects of both the disease and racism. We knew we had to help.

We picked up our cameras, grabbed our mics, and got to work to share the stories of the people behind our beloved Boston Chinatown businesses. Through photography, videography, and design, we have been documenting the neighborhood’s joys, struggles, changes, and more. 

Since then, we have continued to spotlight essential programming by local organizations and have developed our own events to activate our community. We hope that our work will continue to encourage our audience to engage in Boston Chinatown both digitally and in person.

Deepen community connection to  and amplify the evolving stories of Boston Chinatown through story-driven digital campaigns and in-person events.

Content creation equipment – Cameras, audio gear, and production tools are critical for capturing high-quality stories from the community.

Editing and creative tools – Monthly subscriptions for editing and design software allow us to produce polished, accessible content.
