About Reimagining the Future of Running Media | Panel, Book Signing & Happy Hour
Reimagining the Future of Running Media is a conversational workshop, moderated by author Raziq Rauf, discussing how running media continues to shift from curated, centralised legacy outlets toward independent media and decentralised, real-time, creator-driven platforms like podcasts, social media, and newsletters.
The discussion will focus on the impact of this shift from both an industry and a community viewpoint. Runners continue to search for authentic content over mass broadcasts, but increasingly prioritise immediate, participatory engagement over the existing one-way mode of communicating running news and cultural commentary.
Raziq Rauf is the author of This is Running (2026), which examines the whole world of running through a cultural lens. Originally a music journalist from London, he has since carved a popular niche writing about running in his newsletter 'Running Sucks.' Now living in Los Angeles, he was a regular contributor for the BBC, as well as *Classic Rock* and *Kerrang!* magazines.
Raziq will host an on-site book signing immediately after the panel.
