The Race Before The Race
For one night only : slow Sanchez will be fast again.
About
A street race unlike any other.
Asics, New Balance, ON + Brooks will be bringing their speed shoes to demo. Doors open at 5, so arrive early to get the shoe of your choice (each rep will also have extra incentives to choose their shoes just to sweeten the deal).
Race begins at 6. Group relay along with individual races; prizes for top finishers + best team costume.
After the race, we'll party with an afterparty at the store hosted by Midnight Runners.
The Rules :
- be a good neighbor - this is an unsanctioned, unpermitted event + we want to be able to do it again next year. watch out for cars at intersections (we will have volunteers doing so as well), noe residents out for their nightly walks, dogs on leashes + toddlers on scooters.
- it's an out + back course. follow the rules of the road + stay to the right side of the street.
- group relay will consist of 4 people, running half the distance (ie : out + no back). relay teams must be mixed gender - we'll leave the break down up to you.
