About Through The Westside with Love

Through the Westside with Love isn't just a race - it's a celebration of community, resilience, and movement for all.

Whether you're running your first 13.1 miles or cheering from the sidelines, you're part of the movement.

Through the Westside with Love is a high-energy, 3-day wellness weekend packed with five unique events, headlined by our annual signature unsanctioned 13.1-mile half marathon through the heart of South Central Los Angeles.

Cedars-Sinai is proud to partner with Keep it Run Hundred on this event to bring movement-inspired wellness and health resources to the community.

Day 1 · Give Back & Gather

• We kick things off at 9 a.m. with a senior walk and free community CPR training led by Cedars-Sinai experts. Join us to support our seniors and their health during a walk around the track at Rancho Cienega Recreation Center. After the walk, beginning at 10:45 a.m., you’re invited to attend a free CPR workshop to learn lifesaving skills and practical heart health knowledge. Registration is required, and space is limited.

• That evening, registered race participants come together to pick up their race day bib and gather for a pre-race dinner and mixer - a chance to carb up, connect, and meet your fellow runners before the big day.

Day 2 · Race Day

• It's go time! Registered participants take on the 13.1 Half Marathon, winding Through The Westside with all the love, energy, and determination this community is known for.

Day 3 · Restore & Celebrate

• Ease into the final day with a yoga and recovery session to stretch it out and treat your body right after those 13.1 miles (participants only).

• Then we close out the weekend with the Day Party - the grand finale! Open to everyone, this is where the whole community comes together to dance, celebrate, and soak up the good energy. Location coming soon - tickets are sold separately from the race package, so invite your friends!
