About 5:30am - Uloha Kailua 1/2 Marathon and 5K

Welcome to the Uloha Kailua Half Marathon, part of the Marathon Series. The race brings us to the beautiful neighborhood of Kailua.

This scenic course runs through the Kailua and Lanikai areas. Currently the course does a challenging but very scenic and rewarding loop around Mokapu and Kaneohe Bay Drive but we are seeing if we can re-route a little of this. We'll have updates soon. Either way it's a great way to experience the Kailua/Kaneohe area!

In 2025 we were asked to make a very last minute change just a few days before the event, reversing the race direction and swapping the start and finish areas to accommodate the needs of another event. This caused some chaos at the start as. We shouldn't have these issues this year as we we've worked with the other event and the city to straighten this out. The start, late registration, packet pick up and all that good stuff will be the North East side of the park behind Kalapawai Market. We'll have extra porta potties there (last year we had them over on the finish side as that had been pre-arranged) and lighting there as well.

New this year we have a few improvements:

• Upgraded fully custom tech shirts (design coming soon!) for the first 500 entrants

• Custom medals.

• More porta potties

Age Group Prizes

• Half Marathon: Top 3 male & female in each age group: 14 & under, 15–19, then every 5 years up to 85+

• 5K: Top 3 male & female: 9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29 then every 10 years up to 80+

Finisher Medals
Every single runner who crosses the finish line gets a medal. You earned it!

• 1/2 marathon Starts at 5:30am

• 5k starts at 6:30am

PARKING
Parking is available at the free lots located throughout Kailua Beach Park. These lots can fill up quickly, so we encourage you to arrive early. Additional street parking is available in the surrounding area; however, please be mindful of all posted signs and parking regulations. Do not park in areas where signage prohibits parking.
