Aloha Runners! Welcome back for the 2026 Marathon Readiness Series.

Enter all four races at one low price!

This series of runs starts off with the Boca Norman Tamanaha 15K at Kapiolani Park, then moves to the Runner's HI 20K at Kalaeloa and then finishes strong with two half marathons, the Uloha Kailua 1/2 Marathon and the Hawaii Running Lab Val Nolasco 1/2 Marathon.

We apologize for opening registration so late. We're a very small crew and got a little behind on things.

We have a few updates for 2026:

• More porta potties this year!!

• Great dri-fit shirts for all events. Look forward to fully customized shirts for each event. Pics coming soon.

• New 20K course. Last year we had to cancel at the last minutes due to a short stretch of privately owned road not being available at the last minute. The course has been changed so we won't face that issue. It will be a multi-loop course within Kalaeloa reminiscent of the old course but with a much nicer start and finish area.

• Improved Kailua 1/2 marathon course. We were asked to reverse the course less than one week before the race last year to accommodate another event and it caused a bit of chaos for us. This year things should be a lot smoother sailing.

This series of races is run by Shaka Racing but is owned by Mid Pacific Road Runner's Club. MPRRC members will get a discount on series entries.
