About Frick Park Race #2 (2026)

The Orienteering one, designed and master-minded by Stephen Wilson (Pittsburgh Adventure Racing) and Alexis Rzewski. Photos from 2025 to give you a better sense for this treasure hunt through Frick Park. Register before April 30th to be guaranteed a race shirt.

No set course, but rather a scavenger hunt through Frick Park. For a beginner-friendly option, please select the 10 Checkpoint event. Those returning from last year wanting more of a challenge or those familiar with orienteering, please take your try again at the 20 checkpoint challenge. Both challenges will have up to 90 minutes to complete Orienteering Challenge.

Phones are not permitted, unless you are super lost or have a medical emergency.

Same-day registration at 7113 Reynolds Street from 4pm 5:45pm.

Race Distance Change and Transfer Policy

We understand life gets in the way and training may not have gone as planned.

Requests to change your sub-event or transfer your bib to someone else must be made no later than 06/02/2026 at 11:59 PM. Please email chas@paper-dirt.com to request a distance change or transfer your bib.

Since this is not a set distance, there is no fee to change from one challenge to another.

Adding to the post-race celebration, '77 Club (pizza) and Two Frays Brewing will be popping-up on Reynolds Street each week. Eat, drink and race local!
